Privacy Policy

The names, birth dates, birth times and birth cities you enter, and the readings worked out from them, are stored only on your iPhone. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.

• No account and no sign-up.
• No server of ours: every calculation is made on the phone.
• No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, no sale of data.

Written portraits are produced by Apple Intelligence on the device itself. Your data is not sent to an AI service.

Trilume uses Google Firebase to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes: which screens are opened, which features are used, crash reports, device model and iOS version, and a random identifier for this installation. These events never contain your names, birth dates, birth places or the text of your readings, and they are not linked to your identity. Firebase also lets us adjust some settings of the app remotely. Google processes this data on our behalf.

If you turn on the morning notification, it is scheduled on your iPhone. No notification server is involved.

When you choose to share an image or a link, it goes only where you send it, through the iOS share sheet or the app you pick. Shared images show first names only.

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We receive no payment details and no personal information from Apple.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the pages.

Every reading on the site is calculated in your browser. Your birth date, name and place travel only in the link, after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are opened, from which country, on which kind of device and browser. It uses no cookie and no identifier, so it cannot follow you from one visit to the next, and it never sees what you type into a reading. It runs on every page. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf.

Only if you agree, we also use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and tools are used: pages viewed, the site that brought you, approximate location, device and browser, the page language, and a few actions (a reading calculated, a link shared, a tap on a button that leads to the app, a sign-up to the list). These actions say whether a birth time or place was entered, never the date, the name, the time or the place themselves. Advertising features are off: nothing is used to show you ads.

When you choose "OK" in the banner, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_TLWMYPYFBK, which tell visits apart with a random identifier. We limit their lifetime to 13 months from the day they are set, and a new visit does not extend it. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google processes this data on our behalf and may do so outside the European Union.

The Google tag loads only after you choose "OK". Before you choose, and if you choose "No thanks", it is not loaded at all: nothing is sent to Google and no Google Analytics cookie is set.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your agreement, measurement stops, the _ga and _ga_TLWMYPYFBK cookies are erased and the tag is no longer loaded.

• consent, in local storage: your answer to the banner ("yes" or "no"), so it is not shown again. It stays until you change it with the "Cookie settings" link or clear the site's data.
• lang, in local storage: the language you picked with the EN and FR buttons of this page, so the site opens in it next time. Written only if you pick one.
• _ga and _ga_TLWMYPYFBK, cookies: only after you accept Google Analytics, as described above.

If you leave your email to try the app early, we store that address, the language of the page, the day, whether you also asked for the letter, and the dates you confirm or stop, with a coded form of the key in your confirm and stop links. Nothing else: no IP address, no device. We first send one message with a link to confirm it is you; without that click nothing follows and the address is deleted after thirty days.

Once confirmed, you receive the test link when the app is ready and, only if you ticked the box, the Trilume letter, once a month at most. Every message carries a link to stop; one click and nothing else is sent. The list is stored with Cloudflare, in our own database, and the messages are sent through Resend (European servers), which receives the address, its language and your choices once you confirm, and processes them on our behalf. It is never shared or sold. When you stop, the address stays on the list marked as stopped, so that nothing is ever sent to it again; to have it deleted entirely, write to us.

Links in our emails go through a counter that records the campaign, the language and the time of the click. Nothing about you.

You can ask to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to its use, or withdraw a consent at any time, by writing to  . What stays on your iPhone or in your browser is out of our reach: you delete it yourself. If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
